Terms of Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use yappr on devices you own or control. You may not resell the app, reverse-engineer it, or use it to build a competing service.

You keep ownership of the photos, recordings and scripts you upload, and of the yapps you generate from them.

You grant us the limited licence needed to store your content and pass it to our render providers so the feature can work. Nothing broader: we do not gain the right to publish, sell or train on your material.

Every render asks you to confirm: "This is my face, or I have permission to use it." That confirmation is a real commitment, not a formality — you are responsible for holding the rights to every face and voice you upload.

You may not use yappr to impersonate a real person in a way meant to deceive, to fabricate statements from public figures, to harass anyone, to create sexual content involving anyone's likeness without consent, or to produce anything sexual involving minors.

You may not use it for unlawful content, hate speech, or anything that violates the App Store or Google Play policies.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, without refund.

yapps are synthetic media. If you share one somewhere it could be mistaken for real footage, say so. Free renders carry a watermark for exactly this reason; removing it with a Pro plan does not remove your responsibility to be honest about what you made.

Renders consume credits. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play; the price, term and any trial length are shown before you confirm.

A subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your store account — we cannot cancel it for you.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Credits already spent on a completed render are not refundable.

Renders depend on third-party AI providers, so queue times and availability vary and the service is offered as-is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation.

We may change features or these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page before they take effect; continuing to use yappr afterwards means you accept them.

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be waived under your local consumer law.
